"Discovering the local traditions through storytelling" project aims to promote the intercultural learning among the young people through rediscovering the traditions.
Selection of volunteers
ATFPDR is selecting 4 volunteers from Italy, Spain, Turkey and Portugal for the EVS project "Discovering the local traditions through storytelling".
Începând cu 1 Iunie 2014, Asociaţia Tinerilor Formatori pentru Promovarea Dezvoltării Rurale derulează un nou proiect de voluntariat intitulat „Young volunteers for rural entrepreneurship”. Este proiect un finanţat de Comisia Europeană prin Programul Tineret în Acţiune - Serviciul European de Voluntariat. Proiectul facilitează participarea a patru voluntari din Portugalia (Catia Alexandra Reis),Turcia (Serdar Keles), Armenia (Tatevik Sargsyan) şi Georgia (Ani Katchapuridze) la un stagiu inovativ de voluntariat, în sprijinul comunităţilor rurale de rromi de la Colonie-Nuci, Bujoreni, Dăeşti, Goranu şi Valea lui Stan.
The project ”Young volunteers for rural entrepreneurship” is an EVS group project, which will be held in five rural rroma communities from Valcea County: Valea lui Stan, Bolovanu, Lunca, Valea Cheii,Vladesti and Goranu. The thems of the project are: “ Rroma communities” and “ rural/ urban development”.
The specific objectives of the project are:
- Voluntary participation of 4 young people to activities of supporting rural and rroma communities from Valcea County.
- Development of friendship and tolerance spirit among the five volunteers
- Promoting non formal education among young people coming from rural rroma communities;
- Promoting the active participation of young people to the community’s life;
- Developing a sustainable partnership between youth organizations from Europe and countries from Eastern Partnership.
It is a youth exchange project. The project will take place in Gaziantep/Turkey.
It will be 9 days including the travel dates. The dates are 12-20 April 2014. APV will be on 3-4 March, 2014.
Projects partners will be from: Holland, Romania, Slovakia, Poland and Turkey.
Participants taking part of the project will work in 3 different groups which are photography, music and crafts.
These 3 groups will work on the issue of child labour. Main aim of the project is comparing the case of child labour in Europe andTurkey, making social awareness on the subject.
During the activity program participants will be working in different group with local children and the activities will be like in below plan;
Group 1: photography activities with local children and young people. Workshop about child labour and taking photos with children about the issue
Group 2: music activities with local children in the activity participants will make a music workshop with the local children without any instrument and in the end of the project there will be open music show in a public place
Group 3: Craft workshop: In this activity participants will be making crafts with local children and in the last day they will make a open exhibition
In the last day of project, there will be open exhibition and chorus with local children in a historic inn.
